Photo Dump

 Above is Hilly last night.  Just cute.  In general.

Below are pics from our Portrait Innovations adventure.  My mom scheduled a photo shoot for these 2 rascals at 2pm.  We had to get outfits.  Suffice it to say that when I saw these sailor dresses, the search was over. Before you judge, I would like to add that multiple mothers at the studio said, 'OMG- my daughter has the same dress.'  So I'm not alone.  I'm into the whole sailor thing.  And the cowgirl/cowboy thing.  So buckle your seatbelts.  It's going to be a theme-filled ride.

 Jax cried the entire time out of fear of the large camera equipment.  I took the photo below with my iPhone waiting for our pics to be developed.  She drove that car around until 2 little boys stole it from her.  Logan and Matthew.

 She also played with the other children at the Lego table like an angel.  "Angel" being the opposite of Logan and Matthew who stole her car.  :)

Yesterday Grammy and Pops came to watch her swimming lessons.  She seemed to hate it less today.  Progress. 

Dinnertime below. I love how at the end of the day her belly is so round.  It's my very favorite belly.  And last night it was filled exclusively with goldfish until Dada brought yogurt home from work.  She had been asking for yogurt all day.

I also should add...

 That we shouldn't underestimate Hilly's ability to generate smiles either...

 Or Jackie's, of course.  Because she is an awesome big sister.  She helps feed Hilly, change Hilly and bathe Hilly.  If I try to help, she says, "No, Mama.  MY baby."  I'm ready to take Jax up on her offer and move Hilly into Jackie's room for the night.  :)

7 months

 See this tooth? One tooth.  Sleepless nights, tears, grumpiness. She has a million more to grow.

 Do not underestimate Hilly's ability to spread misery and sleeplessness.

Visit With Aunt B

 As you can see, Jax had a tough time saying bye to her Aunt Beppy.  See that awesome giraffe she's clutching? A gift from Aunt B.  How did she know Jax had a thing for giraffes?

 Hillers and Jax donned matching yellow bows and coral colored clothing.

Hillers had a good time too.  She is happier when she can sit up and hang out. And if Hilly is happy, Mama is happy. 

Anyway, Jackie was really psyched to seeing her Aunt Beppy and I think yesterday evening was everything she had dreamed it would be.

Swim Lesson 2

 Miss Alicia had to put her dog to sleep on Wednesday, so she wasn't able to teach Jackie to swim.  Her mom, Ms. Peggy, filled in.  I could tell this caught Jax off guard, but she did really well anyway.

 On the sidelines, Hillers offered moral support and a look of concern.

 And last but not least, Grammy was kind enough to attend this lesson.  I don't know who was more brave: Grammy or Jackie.

Easter Bunny

 I prepared Jax for this last minute visit by showing her youtube vids of kids meeting the Easter Bunny.  She was psyched.  All the way to the mall, "Bunny!"

When we arrived, we found there was no line.  None.  I felt bad for the Bunny.   He spotted us from afar and began to wave.  There was no turning back.  Jackie began frantically pointing to the nearest exit (see photo above).

Jax screamed and clung to Grandma D-ster for her life.  I didn't buy the $20 photo and received permission to take a cell phone shot.  I mean... he's sitting on a wicker settee.  Totally budget.

All she has to say about the visit is, 'No Bunny' with an occasional 'No Ho-ho' thrown in for good measure. 

We got to see Grandma Debbie 2x this week and this weekend we will be seeing Aunt Betty at Grammy and Pops.  Jax is very excited.

In other news, Hilly's 2nd tooth is coming in (bottom left) and she is absolutely miserable about it.

BFF Visit

 My BFF who moved to St. Louis (Michelle) came to visit with her fam.  Jackie is terrified of her older son, but is in love with her baby.

Pants

Last Week Jax decided her and Hilly would wear bows. I realized my girls are never wearing pants in pictures. Because they never wear pants at home.

So in honor of Hilly looking cute and wearing pants today at home (before we run errands) I am posting these pictures.

Jackie was a woman on a mission on Saturday.

I wish I had pics from the baby shower, but I was busy keeping mademoiselle Hilly happy. This is no small feat. She's lucky she's a knock out!
