Dancing and Singing

I have no idea where Jackie got this song from--- I think from Little Gym bc she gets every random child's song from LG.  And the waiting room is soundproof so whatever they listen to in there remains a mystery to me.  At her "big gym" class, though, I know they listen to like Rhianna and Taylor Swift, etc...

LW Gardens

Forgive the massive amount of photos. I couldn't just pick a few.

Wed was park and Little Gym and Jack's dress after a fitting. Pre-LG, I got a milkshake from one of those trendy fro-yo places for the girls to share. Jack drank as much as she wanted before the gym and Hill had the rest- but doesn't get that you don't tip a cup with a straw. I made the fatal mistake of trying to help her after she spilled some on her lap and she became furious. Screw that- I drank the rest myself while she finishes her temper tantrum.

Then Jack came out wanting more milk shake so I let her get a small fro-yo sundae (umm... Absolutely a cool mom move. 2 ice creams in a row?? I don't even understand my own thought process)- and she chose her own toppings: m&ms, gummy bears, chocolate and rainbow "sparkles." I know my Jack and of course she didn't finish it- so Hillers did. I tried it but the mini gummy bears in the ice cream were disgusting and leaked a lemon-y flavor throughout.

Then Jax tried on her dress and was super pumped.

Yesterday morning I wasn't sure how this day trip was going to work out but I am SO glad we went. The girls had such a good time playing in the fountain and wandering through the gardens and climbing the treehouse. My preg arse wasn't climbing any treehouse so I held down the fort at the bottom w the babies (Hillers and P's little sis). Hillers got bored w the fountain and started to run (shocker), looking back every time to make sure I was chasing her. Ugh. Since we were in a mostly enclosed and empty children's garden, I didn't chase half the time. Then naturally she discovered the unenclosed section with stairs- which she now descends "like a big girl," increasing her odds of face planting. Nice! She is lucky she is like the cutest kid ever. Srsly.

Jax is an awesome protective big sis and would chase her with me and say "Hilly, don't run! A stranger could get you!"

Anyway, it was super fun and Jax and Hills and their friends had a blast. I am so happy it is finally warm outside.

We got home and the girls helped me tape up Ben's room in preparation for painting, which has been on my to-do list for..... I dunno.... 5 months? Hopefully I have the energy to prime tonight and paint sometime this weekend.

Oh and yesterday at the park we met up w Jax's friend from school, M. M's mom had to move her car, and M got upset. Jax immediately started comforting her saying "It's okay, M. Your mommy will be right back! It's okay!" So sweet.

Also, every time Lou sticks her mug in Jackie's face, Jackie pets her and says "Awww.... Louie's cuuuute!"

Mall pics- a Tuesday Throwback

The usual- but then we had swimming, which we decided we are taking a break from for awhile. Her disdain for group lessons prevails and it is frankly not worth the money at this time if she isn't going to enjoy it.
