3 Months

Hilly's nose is still a nightmare of boogers - but she is much happier and feeling much better and we got lots of snuggs and reading time today as well as.... U guessed it- park.

We played serious games w this map of the US of A.

And below is BBB at 3 months.  Ahhh!  I can't believe it was only 3 months ago that I was super pregnant and miserable. I didn't even know Ben yet.  Anyway, he is still hanging on to his spiky hair. Go Ben!  As Jackie tells him on the reg- I love you, old man!

Dream

Last night I had a dream that Louie was actually Skippy and s/he died while sleeping underneath our seats on an airplane and the stewardess took her/him away and cremated her/him without telling us. Jim doesn't allow dream talk (I also generally don't like it), but this one was so traumatizing I asked myself, why have a blog if you can't write about your dreams on it?

I digress.

Below is a pic of Big Brother B. The triple B. BBB.
Since everyone has been sick, we've been sneaking off to the park during off hours 2x a day, every day. Just because my girls' noses are encrusted in boogers, doesn't mean they don't wanna get their playground on.

You know you're lame when you start to find the sight of a city playground to be beautiful.
Sleepy Jack on walk home.
Friday Jack demanded she dress like a princess for school and then selected her royal outfit.  Also the other day I tried to put on a math TV show I force them to watch and Jack said "no!! I want to watch GIRL tv!" (Like Sofia). She also said to me "Belle is a princess, just like me."

Alas, ballet today.

More park.
Just before beddies.

Croup, Yet Again

This post is delayed because Jax has croup which meant colds, coughs, snot. On Tues, we went to the Phila zoo w Gma D-ster.  It was a gorgeous day and empty so we had front row seats and got to ask the zookeeper all our Qs about the gorillas, etc... Totes awesome. Then we went to lunch. Also totes awesome.

Below is me with my new crush. Today I heard him laughing in his sleep.  :)

The gorilla just looked from Jack to Hill fr Hill to Jack and back again. As he ate popcorn and lettuce.  Popcorn. Weird, right? We also learned they give the female gorillas birth control. Put that in your pipe and smoke it.
His name is Louis (seriously).
This tiger was pacing for his lunch. Hilly was freaked out by how close the large cats got to us.

My girl with croup.
We had major cabin fever so today we hit up the park at like 830AM and then again after naps at 330PM.  On Monday on way home from park (this is my favorite park weather, if you haven't noticed), Jack was running. She stopped and said "My heart is beating SO LOUD."

Then yesterday she was picking on Hilly a lot so I told her how I never had a sister and she is lucky she has one blah blah. She burst into the saddest tears.  I asked her why she was crying and she said "That story is so sad!" I gave her a hug and told her I am fine and her bottom lip quivered and she said "I missed you when you didn't have a sister."

Also at her school on Mon a sign is up that lists their favorite food. Jackie said "hot dog." While she has eaten a few hot dogs at picnics and stuff, I have literally never made her a hot dog, nor has she asked for one.  Wtf. Haha

Ponies and Gorillaz

Went to zoo yesterday and got to hang w these guys:

These pics aren't in order, but we then went to lunch.
Jack was sooo stressed about the possibility of the wind blowing away the placemats. Unreasonably so.
Pony rides: Initially we only bought ticket for Jax. Hills freaked out when she realized she wasn't going. We felt so bad- we didn't think she would notice or care. She was so happy when we bought her a ticket. They were so brave! Watching them go on the ponies was so awesome. I almost shed a tear at how big they are.

This morn, Jack was snuggling B and said "Benny, you are SO BRAVE. I'm so proud of you!!!"
