Here is a random pic from the food court at the mall w our friends last week. Why did I find this photo worthy? No clue.
ANYWAY, Sunday night we cooked out with our old neighbors and friends. Below: first s'mores. It was super fun but I get major anxiety when my kids hang w older kids. Even a year older. I'm afraid they will be less careful walking down steps, running, etc... or they will be treated poorly, etc... So these events are pretty stressful. Woe is me.
Ben woke up smelling like a campfire.
Gma came and we ate at a nearby restaurant bc kids eat free on Mondays. Which means I get an extra glass of wine guilt-free. I kid.
First hair cut: I chased Ben around the house w a scissors. No clue what I was doing but it's done.
Jack dancing in class.
First time at dentist: clean bill of oral health.
She chose raspberry fluoride and described it as "delicious." Hear that, Aunt D?

Fish-sitting Round 2
This post has taken FOREVER bc I lost my phone (so no pics of certain play dates or our bday party for Grammy) and also our internet connection has been super slow. Dry your eyes because I am back. And below is a pic of Jack flipping at gym last week.
This is Hills watching with some delicious popcorn. She ain't got nowhere to be.
What was she watching? Jax, on a rope. Super cool. I could never do that.
The most important of events: fish-sitting the transgendered fish, Sofia. Hillers spent the better part of the weekend in this position.
I mean... LOOK AT THAT FACE. Sometimes I just run up to her and start kissing her because she is so damn cute.
The weather was way nicer than it is outside today (ahem) so we made use of the wagon.
Return to Sofia.
Me and the young sir.
Hills snuggled up to Lou and said "Take my picture!" With pleasure.
Last Friday our neighbor came and hung with us for the day. She was a huge help.
The sidewalk chalk was from her and her mom. They always leave the girls special treats for holidays and their birthdays. It is the sweetest thing ever. We try to reciprocate as well, for the record.
More Sofia.
Hilly and Ben find some common ground. She is enjoying him more that he is mobile. He tackles her like crazy to get whatever she is eating. She respects this level of physical-ness.
Hillers playing BBB?
The men of the house.
