The climbing begins. He is srsly the sweetest boy, though. He gets into stuff but is so upset when I correct him. He just weeps. He also is really upset when the girls aren't nice to him and wants to be around people and playing all the time.

After tons of screaming and playing and excitement.... She fell asleep. 

The next morning:

Even Ben is pumped about this development. Srsly- he is up and down on that bed 1000x a day.

Hill wasn't feeling swimming. Prob bc she was too tired from last night's celebrations. 

This silly face is 3 min before she tripped and fell and skinned her knee. Chaos ensued. 

Mon-Tues

After school, waiting for yoga to begin. 

Post-yoga, rolling each other up in yoga mat. 

Tantrum. 

Snack. 

Tues- Aquarium. Bucket list item for fall. Check. BBB and I pet sharks. He was mad at me afterwards bc I made him do it.

I had lost Hilly for a long 30 seconds only to find that she climbed up to an exhibit and was peacefully viewing sea turtles.

Halloween-y weekend

First of all, I wasn't able to take pics at the Halloween parade. BBB loved the bands- loved. And we forgot Jack's costume and she was sooo upset so Aunt Jeanette gave her a beautiful shirt to wear as a dress and braided her hair which mended wounds we can only imagine. It was soooo nice. So nice to hang w grandpa and grandma and the rest of the Shoemakers. And grandpa looked great and his sense of humor was in tact.

Thurs after gym, we hit up the DCM. First time B wanted my help, yet didn't.  He's a complicated man. 

Jax. Last year at this time her legs couldn't reach the handles. 

Thurs evening, cross-dressing w her oldest friend Will.

Friday we went to park after school then came home and had a quiet night. 

Sat was Halloween parade and today Aunt Smoddy came for our Halloween tradition: pumpkins and ice cream. 

She took these pics and sent them to me. 

First time the kids picked pumpkins directly from a patch. 

Hill tried to sneak a rotting pumpkin she fell in love with into the wagon. Smod reminded her it was rotting and she said she was "just looking at it." Yeah right! Heh. Then we went for ice cream.

All 3 kids and Jim were passed out cold when we got home so Smod and I caught up over our pumpkin carvings. 

Proud to admit I branched out and carved a pirate skeleton and Smod made her typical traditional pumpkin. 

Anyway, this weekend was awesome. I hung out w people I love and got to watch my kids enjoy my fave Halloween traditions.
