Extreme Eastering

1st up: Easter egg hunt at their preschool. Hilly stayed up too late Friday so she was touch and go this day.
They were all soooo excited to see the bun. Benny stared and said "Scary!"

Egg hunt. These 2 tore it up.
These 2 were like "screw eggs. Let's move in together." Benny's a sucker for a blonde.
These 2- bosom buddies.

Hard at work.
Also hard at work. Hill has been pounding candy.
It was awesome- so many cute crafts for this crowd.
Sand art.
Butterfly making.
We left Aldersgate and headed to the Shoemaker Easter. Below is aunt lynn making crafts w the girls. Right up Jack's alley.
Gabe ran over to Ben and said "Hi!" Benny casually looked back and said "Hi Gabe!"
My little firecracker.
Crowd shots.

Egg hunt número 2.

Ben finally got on. Very possessive of the basket.

Aaron helping Ben find the final eggs.

Piñata time! Best tradition ever. Benny buckled under the pressure.

Day Trip to Amish Country

One day this week the girls played nicely ALL day. It was luxurious.
And this is Benny's fave thing to do in the tub. I remember loving to do this as well.
At gym chowing down on snacks from the evil vending machine.
Then we set off for the Turkey Hill Experiece. The kids were all free and Cara and I had a groupon for like $5/each. Seeing this large cow was excitement enough for the kids. Check how Hilly's facial expression!
Gift shop.
Real dairy truck to climb on.
Cow with utters you could milk. Cara said at the Louisiana state fair they have a real cow you can milk. This is on my bucket list.
Free unlimited ice cream samples. Salted caramel ice cream, rainbow sherbet, chocolate were the faves.
While they are they watched a movie about ice cream making.
Me dreaming of milking a real cow.
Video games that demonstrated good vs bad bacteria in dairy products.
Hilly loved identifying the bacteria.

A ball pit.

Oh- also free turkey hill drinks like lemonade, etc
All sugared up, performing on stage.

Making their own ice cream commercial.
Benny and I giving it a shot.
Editing the vid.
More ice cream, obvi.
Gift shop antics. The staff was probably more than happy to see us leave.

We stopped at Miller's Restaurant again. I almost bought a Lancaster county christmas ornament.
Ppl were stopping to tell us how well behaved our kids were. But... People forget this can change in a second.
It was so warm we let them run around in the cornfield behind the restaurant. They saw horse and buggies, etc.

And my fave pic of the day:
