The first full day w Hood fam we hit up the much anticipated boardwalk that night.
Bumper cars! Hilly's first time and she loved going w Fin.
Tea cups (Ben calls them the "fast tea cups"):
While Jim and me and Jack and Finley went on the Sea Dragon, Jen took the little kids on these race cars.
These might be my fave pics of the vacation.
carousel.
Posing w the new stuffed animals. I am a master at beating children at board walk games, let me tell you.
Me and my 3 besties.
Grotto's for dinner.
The dreaded balloons at Grotto's.

Rehoboth Beach Vacay Part 1
While we packed, Miss Amy and the kids made an incredible chalk design down our steps. Jack was soooooo proud- with good reason. Totally awesome.
After a nice ride we arrived to an awesome house w an incredible screened in porch and a short walk to the boardwalk and beach.
We set off for dinner and rides.
Dinner at the Purple Parrot.
Ben and Hill had to poop after dinner I walked them back to the house quick while Jim and Jack went on rides. We met up on the beach for ice cream.
I overheard Jackie asking Hilly where we went when we were gone.
The walk back. Just looking at these pics is painful. I love the beach.
The next morning we walked up to the beach.
And did some porch sitting...
At the beach later that day...
Our Wilmington friends were at the same beach so we spent time w them:
Jim suffered major sunburn the first day.
What ended up being the craft area.
Day 2 at the beach:
Dusk at the beach. So gorgeous. Having a 3, almost 5 and 6 year old is sooo much easier than having a 1, 3 and 4 year old. Or 0, 2 and 3. Dude. That was hard.
Funny enough, Hill was sitting like this and when Jack saw I was going to take her pic she yelled Hilly! To distract her and then took her spot. Typical older sis.
Bedtime. Rough every time.
Grammy and Pops arrived and woke up to art work.
Benny is Pops' shadow. He just chills and chats.
Some fancy braid work.
Tuesday we rented a pontoon boat w our Wilm friends. It was the greatest idea and I def want a pontoon boat rental to become a beach tradition for us.
Riding through the canal
We docked in Lewes and ate lunch at Irish Eyes.
We came home and the Hood fam arrived later that night. The next day everyone hit up the hot tub.
More braids.
Beach w the Hoods:
Aunt Katie and the guys:
Their "hideout"
Benny and Esme
Jack and I took an early morning walk one morning to shop for Hilly's birthday gift and buy some souvenirs:
Back at it.
