I thought I'd open this blog with my current favorite photo of Jax. This was taken at her great-grandma's 80th birthday party. She pretty much refused to hang out with anyone the entire time, but Grandma (which is the way it should be, I suppose), but agreed to pose for the picture with all of the grandchildren and great-grandchildren so long as she was sitting with cousin Parker. And who could blame her? Look at Parker's sweet face. I love his hair, for the record!
Jackie is modeling a dress from her beloved Godmother, Aunt Annie.
The second opening picture is an ultrasound photo, because that is currently the only footage we have of Hillary.
God-willing, she will make her debut sometime within the next month. Meanwhile, a security in my office building was kind enough to make her a cross:
It really brightened my day to receive such a thoughtful gift from this security guard. Apparently there are 6-8 pregnant girls in my office building and he made a cross for each of us.
Anyway, this is my other recent favorite picture of Jackie. I love that her hair is getting longer and more plentiful. I took this picture with my phone after daycare about 2 weeks ago. I said, "Say Cheese" and she immediately knew what was happening and flashed me her million dollar smile, which might be my favorite sight on earth:
