On behalf of Jackie and Hilly, we hope you are voting for Obama tomorrow. They have vaginas, and I want them to be able to make their own choices about what happens down there and have access to testing and programs that promote their physical health and self esteem. No offense to my male husband, family and friends: but have you met many men? Do you want them making decisions on behalf of my girls? Last time I checked, men aren't that impressive of a breed- just show them a picture of boobs and see what happens. My girls will be intelligent enough to make their own reproductive decisions with their doctor.
Also, if they are gay, I want them to be able to marry their girlfriends.
You know I hate when people tell me what to do, what I "should" do, and how to feel about it.
That said, if Mitt wins, I am eager to benefit from this stellar economy. I am not spending 4 years in bitterness. I am not trying to raise knee jerk Dems.
But damn, will I miss Obama.
I promise no more politics! Only love. Love is better.
