Onto the festivities. Below are the 2 Higgins men doing manly things, like watching Duke football on a Saturday afternoon in November.
The rest of the crew. Out of control, this crowd. Lemme tell you.
And Jax was reunited w her BFF, Jill. So. Excited.
And that's all I got because I was busy sipping on cocktails in the kitchen with the womenfolk. I am sad the day is over.
We got home and Benny had a fever! He still does as I type. Today here are some pics:
Jax spent a few hours at P's this morning and Tiffany sent a lunch home for Hill. How sweet is that??? Hill kept saying "Thank you, Tiffany!"
Our Elf (Suzie) arrived. Old Suze also brought a gift: Candyland. Jax screamed with excitement when she realized a gift was hiding behind our tree.
Popsicles tonight.
Started advent calendar- a tootsie roll for the girls to split. I heard Jackie thanking Suze. Suze is hanging out above our TV like a creep. Every time I look at her I wonder why the hell I didn't invent her.
And below we have fever boy. Apparently cousin Griff has the same thing. I am stressed about it. He is like a hot water bottle.

Also, tonight we took away Hill's paci. She was calling for it tonight and I went in and explained to her that it's for babies and she is a big girl. She said "it's okay, mommy." So I climbed in her crib w her and we talked about everything we saw. For some reason, the losing of the paci gets me every time. It's so mean of us to take away their comfort. I was so attached to my blanket and pillow. When my pillow flew out the window in a highway I was so hysterical and traumatized I can barely find humor in it 25 years later! And finding humor is my specialty.
