Bethany Beach and OBX part 1

First off, my fave pic of Jax:

In Bethany at Grammy and Pops' beach house, the girls slept together and watched ninja turtles. Don't be fooled- this looks peaceful but it was so hard to keep them in bed we gave up and let them stay up until they collapsed. I mean, it was our anniversary and all. Who needs to battle a 2 and 4 year old? Not it.

First morn at OBX, I woke up and realized Jax and Jim were on porch, gazing at the burned down house that Jack was obsessed w. Not a surprise. 

Dead shark washed up a few weeks ago and we had the luxury of watching it rot. Which again, Jack was pumped about. I asked what her fave part of beach was. She said "sand." She asked me the same and before I could answer she nodded and said "shark? Mine too." That's my girl!
