Kramer Xmas and Swimming

Jack is super into letters and sounding things out. 1 game is she writes a bunch of letters and asks me what word it makes.  Below Jack drew her classmates and their first initial over their heads. 

I don't know what this drawing is. I'll have to ask. She said "take my picture."

Below at Aunt D's- Jack and Ben and little JR. We have a baby doll named JR from when the girls first met him. Little does he know he is a celeb in our house. 

The feeling was mutual. Jack and JR were inseparable.

The kids went out to play and Benny watched solemnly. 

Cousin Mark burning pine cones w Hilly. On the way home Hilly was saying "I forgot to say bye to Mark!" Also she told me her friend Tyler was funny. I asked what he did that was funny. She said "Tricks and games." Haha

That night before Aunt B and Grammy and Pops stopped by. 

This morning the girls were trying to learn to tie their shoes. When I saw Jim teaching them I felt pure relief at the idea that maybe this could be his project. It just seems hard to teach! I remember Marilyn teaching me when I was in kindergarten or so. 

Benny at the pool eating a pb and j. Which sounds delicious right now. I'm starving.

Srsly, hitting up the pool was a top notch idea this morning. We had lunch and swam for about 2 hours.  Jack loves it soooo much and swimming w Kyle (a stronger swimmer) gets her out there. 

She was super pumped to show me her skills. 

Benny likes to play w the balls all around the pool. Hilly is hot or cold. Betsy and I think Hill will make a great pregnant woman. Sitting in the lounge chair and eating snacks and changing her clothes (constantly) is basically her forte at this point. I'm wondering if swimming lessons would help her get in there and have some fun.
