Spring Break

Jack and her 2 buddies are in a swim lesson package that is M-F this week at 11am. They are loving it. Jack was apprehensive at first bc her teacher wasn't miss Sasha and it was a boy. I told her Ms Sasha was on vacay and that was her brother and also if she quits, she's never getting swim lessons again. That was that! She let herself love it. 

We went to my friend Mer's today and Bennt loved hanging w her 2 year old son. He is a good socialized w kids his own age!

The neighbor girl Emily came over and brought Easter gifts and helped me feed the kids dinner. One of the gifts was a little notebook. H said to her at one point "Emily, do you know baby Jssus? I love him." She then showed me a huge stack of drawings she made. She said "Mommy. These are for all my friends at school. This one is for Evelyn. This one is for Leah. This one is for Jesus. Do you know who this one is for? (Then she put her hand up to her mouth in a whisper and looked at me with exhausted yet determined eyes and said-) Dylan." It was so cute I could cry.
