Lately Ben and Lou are buds and it warms my heart. Ben pulled her fur the other week and Lou just let out a cry and then started licking Ben. This is how she used to teach Hannah not to bite hard when Hannie was a puppy.
Another example of Ben and a Lou.
On Tues I went to my first Mary Kay party and thought the kids playing together in the ball out was super cute.
Benny found another friend- this time a Jack Russell named Nicki.
Wed morning before a run w his buddy Baby Kate.
Reward for keeping her hair in on picture day! Both kids got an m&m mcflurry- neither finished. So I ate 2 of them. Damn.
Jack's class pic. It was nice to put some names to faces.
The girls raided the clothes bag from Mary Beth. And had a blast. Oh, also Jack was telling me about Johnny Appleseed - he wore a pot on his head and shares his apples or something. She kept referring to him as "Apple Jackson." Hahahahaha So cute.
Tantrum outside before we left for Halloween parade.
Jim pretending to be a giant.
The fire truck parked outside Uncle M and Aunt J's house.
The firemen were sooo nice and let Benny sit in the truck and put the hat on. I have found this w firemen. They always wave to kids and totally respect the fact that little kids think nothing is cooler than a fire truck. So awesome.
Many of the kiddos:
Jeanette's awesome setup.
We left at like 930- completely exhausted. The kids had so much fun and frankly this parade is one of my childhood memories I treasure the most. I loved how all the kids mingled and played together more closely. Thanks to Mick and Jeanette for keeping the tradition alive and even adding to it. We love you guys!
