Monday-Animal Kingdom

My very fave park. I love love it. We started out on the safari which is my favorite ride. 

Our "guide" was this awesome gay dude. He referred to cheetah as "shay-tahs" and quoted T Swift. So awesome.

This was the underwater portion of the safari. This was the hippo habitat. That big blob of light to the right is a hippo underwater (they can hold their breath for up to 8 min) and the cool part was watching the fish eat stuff off the hippo's back. 

Then we saw 2 baby gorillas. Basically my dream come true. 

We are at Tusker House for lunch. Here are Benny and I celebrating the presence of Donald in our midst.

While everyone went on the Dino ride and Benny napped, Hilly and I hit up Dinoland and play carnival games. We won 3 prizes.

Then Hilly spotted a gecko and we watched him for like 20 min. Then took his pic and edited accordingly. 

We went back on the safari w Uncle B and Park. 

I want to say these are hippos. We saw like 6 out of the water waddling from their feeding place. 

Giraffes. 

Hard for me to see but elephants? One was almost dancing. Turns out she dances from her years of being tied up in the circus. She now has a happy life and has birthed 3-4 babies but she still sways. Makes me so sad.

That night was pizza inside the hotel room. Perfection.
