December Stuff

This week has been so insane, I can't remember what this post contained.  I can upload pics from my phone, but I can no longer write the blog entry.  I have to use a real computer for that.  Which is actually pretty nice.

I wanted to include a bouquet of roses from my girl, Smoddy. My birfday.
Jack reading a bedtime story to Ben.  I love when she reads to her siblings.
Jack reading to Hill.  Yay! Makes my job easier.
Our gym has this awesome indoor playground, as I've detailed on here.  But there is also a free arcade, which is the WORST.  So while they kids should be blowing off steam on the playground and maze, they run over to the arcade every so often.  Ugh.
Jack reading in her newly designed room.  That they think is boring and monochromatic.  But I think is beautiful.
Benny calls those clouds "popcorn."
Lunch at Cara's with Penelope and the twins.
Dinner at the HAC after the girls tumbling.
Benny WEEPING because I made him leave Betsy's.  He spent a lot of time there during recital week. They have a ton of boy toys and Ben thinks Kyle is the coolest.  So leaving is never easy.
Dinner at Lisa's.
Before... Hilly's first tennis lesson!
Ok, for starters, nobody was cuter on that court.  But also, her and Jackie were the youngest by def at least 1.5 years. Hilly by 2.5. This teacher is the worst.  Jack's lessons (through the same program, just outside and with different instructors) always had 2 teachers - 1 for beginners and 1 for more advanced- and there was a lot of just feeding them balls to get them used to making contact w the racket.  Not so.  Here poor Hilly is playing doubles, etc...
This was the xmas card that ALMOST was.  But I just didn't like it enough.  Christmas card fail.
Benny's 2nd swim lesson.  Jim took him to his first lesson.  He held onto Mr. Ian and cried. But afterwards he was really proud of himself.  And I had the kids swim for 2 hours afterwards so he continues to associate the pool w a fun time.
And it was BEAUTIFUL.  So toasty and warm.

The room.  So clean and wonderful.
Saturday Payton had her birthday party at the ice rink.  I couldn't go because I had to dye my hair before Jim's work party that night. And also I just needed like 2 hours to be completely by myself.  It did not disappoint.  Thank God for Emily- she was out there on that ice with Hillary and she is the best. She is a member of our family at this point!
Jack and her girl Evelyn.
Em and Hill.
Boom.
Tiff and Jack.
Tiff and the crew. How uncomfortable are Jack's eyes.
Em and the girls.

Sunday morning, the kids were all playing shopkins.
Lou enjoying our new carpet.
Benny at soccer practice on Monday.

Benny at karate.

Jack's ukulele lesson moved to the front of the music store, so we got to window shop instruments for a half hour.
