Ponytails

This summer Jax had a teacher in her classroom named Miss Ellie. She was the sweetest college girl and set up such a cute curriculum for the toddlers. She also took the time to do all the little girls' hair, including Jackie. Jackie never keeps bows or ponytails in her hair.... unless they are placed there by Miss Ellie. Jackie also says "Ellie," and it is SO. FREAKING. CUTE.

Unfortunately, Miss Ellie went back to college. I was really sad about this. But we have photographic evidence of Miss Ellie's handiwork.












These pictures remind me a lot of this summer and the nice long walks Jackie and I would take every day. We can't really take those long walks now because the baby is so young and the tiger mosquitoes attack like CRAZY this time of year. But I'm really glad that Jackie and I got so many walks in. They helped both of us wind down after a long day. I would always think she was sleeping until I'd see her little finger point excitedly towards something we would see on our walk: a ball in someone's yard, a dog, a squirrel, etc... I look forward to long walks with both Jackie and Hillary next summer.
