Happy Birthday Aunt D

We were fortunate to be able to attend Aunt D's annual birthday pork and sauerkraut celebration (and Jenna's unofficial good-bye party) at Grandma E's yesterday. She even let Jax share the spotlight. I just love the picture below. Don't let Jackie's alleged shyness fool you- she woke up this morning asking me to sing "Happy Birthday" with her.
Below is our host, the matriarch herself.
More great cake shots...

And last but certainly not least, the Hillster, rocking a shirt that I was upset Jackie never got much wear out of. Despite her cold, she did really well. It is so stressful to have a baby that is sick. I remember when Jackie was about 4 months old, she was super constipated. Jim and I were just staring at her little butt in horror and fear. It scarred us to the point that we still sometimes say to each other, 'Omg, remember how bad Jackie was constipated that one time? That was the worst!'
Another crowd shot.

We left a little bit early to head to Grammy & Pops' for dinner. I wish I took pictures! Jackie received a little doll that talks and moves and was terrified.

Anyway, after being cooped up in the house for 2 days straight, I was happy that people invited us to do things. Jackie loves her cousins, aunts, uncles and grandparents, and I know that Hillary will too.
