The Joys of Halloween

I have about 2 seconds before Jim and 3 children descend upon me as I try to document the insanity that was Halloween.

Started Wed.  Jack's gym class had a Halloween parade.  Between you and me, I hate Halloween parades.  When I see the kids who look all depressed like, 'Ugh... I am in a Halloween parade." I think "I feel you, man."
I had Jack dress as a ballerina for the sake of convenience.  I am not big into Halloween.
Hill was totes freaked by the costumes.  Particularly a lego man of some sort and a werewolf (who incidentally happened to be our old neighbor, B. Ahem)
Next day: Halloween party at school.  Below are my sweet peas all ready to go.
Did I mention that last minute Jack changed her costume?  She wanted to wear her Xmas bracelet from Nana and her tiara from Gma E.  More power to her.  Here she is with some classmates of hers.
BBB was dressed as a bat.  He passed out half way through the party.  Passed out cold.  Evidently there is such a thing as "too much of a good time..."  ;)

P and Jax really started to rock it.  I mean... the point of a princess dress if you're not going to spin is....................?
Then we met up w our buddies at a park.  Hilly and the boy she is obsessed with looked for bugs together.  Hilly actually squeezed an ant between her fingers and her fingers were, as a result, bloody.  She said to me, "Look!  A bug!  He's so cute!"  No.
Then we hung out with P and crew where BBB resumed his position of awesomeness among the ladies.
P and Jax painted pumpkins while the little kids napped.

Aside: here is a hilarious pic from that bounce place we went to on Tues.
Me and my man BBB.
Last night we trick-or-treated with some of our friends.  Beforehand the kids ate pizza.  Below is Hilly stalking her fave boy.
Father. Son. Solo cup.

Hilly actually would run into people's houses when they opened the door.  Then I would have to ask if they minded that I chase her.  I would find her like digging through their drawers or chasing their cat.  It was CRAZY and oh so very Hilly.  Love that kid.  Love.

Here are all the kids.
Today after gym, Hills had some yogurt.  Every time it would drop on her belly she'd say "DUUUUUDE."  :)
Her stamps from gym class.  Grammy came to watch her today and took care of Benny Boy.

Here is my girl sleeping in the car.
Here is my other girl reading a princess book while Hilly napped.  She LOVES princesses.  Loves.
And last but not least, we had dinner w P and crew tonight.  Ahh, what a fun week.
