A Little Warmth

Definition of cozy? The opposite of Jack's bed. Dude.
I obviously removed toys and re-tucked her in after seeing this gem.  They are super into being tucked in now, which they call "getting cozy." After bath they both run to Jim on the bed at say "Snuggles w daddy!!"

Jack had school today so Hill, Ben and I chilled and ate apples.

How can someone so adorable be such an emotional basket case? Haha

Ahhhhh, the joys of a 2 year old.  :)
She asked to hold Benny.

The softer side of Hilly.

We picked up Jack and Jack immediately ran over to hug Hilly. Then they started hugging silliness (hugging and not letting go until someone falls) and another classmate got in on the loving.  Then they played w a Will at the playground, chasing squirrels.  The girls play more and more together every day and Jackie includes her with her friends.  When Jax heard Hilly awake after her nap, she went upstairs to Hill's room and read her a 1,000 books and then they played.  I went up after awhile bc it was so quiet- they were just chatting. And now they are running around together singing dressed as Snow White and Sofia, respectively. Between you and me, I put the smackdown at any indication of hilly-exclusion. But I don't really have to put the smackdown... bc Hilly is welcomed with open arms most of the time (I can only think of one time where she wasn't).  Anyway, it makes me feel really happy. Probably too happy.  But I am happy just staring at Ben play with a plastic ball for like hours- so I'm not exactly a tough sell.  I'm more like a pathetic cheeseball who is destined for terrible empty nest syndrome or 7000 kids. I hope my kids live with us at home forever and we have a huge extended family homestead.  I digress...
