Ok, some backtracking. Ben's early wake ups were killing us so on Good Friday we celebrated by taking him to the doc. Last year were celebrated via the ER bc Hill launched herself off the couch. It's a family tradition.
I babysat the 11 year old neighbor girl and she came along but really it was her that did the babysitting.
She brought the kids all gifts, including new flip flops for Jack.
Hillers, dressed to the GD nines.
My awesome helper for the 1 hour wait and dr appt. Love her.
Ben, perfect bill of health. Just razor sharp teeth coming through. Not cool.
Saturday morning. Energetic crew.
The cousins (sans Abby and babies).
9 months apart in age.
Egg hunt. Btw- the girls picked their own outfits. Hilly picked a good one, right?
My sweet sweet Jackie.
Me and my girls.
The piñata.
When it broke my girls froze so I dove into the pile of young children w them to grab them a few items. I'm embarassed to admit that I collected items that I planned to eat myself. Like Cadbury chocolate eggs. I also realized how I was probably a tad over zealous in the candy pile but... The selection was to notch. I remember one Easter when we were young we broke the piñata in the Wetzel's garage and those candy little wax sodas were in it and when it broke the liquid went everywhere. Haha
A moment earlier Jack had her arm around Hilly.
The Easter Bun came!
And hid eggs!
