Keeping Busy

We had non-traditional bedtimes all week. Did I say in the last entry that Jackie said to me "when we aren't talking, we are saying words in our head." And also "my little sister!" Every time Hill rides her trike into dangerous territory. Really cute. Anyway, on Mon while the big kids were at school, we went to check out the fitness center where we will go to the pool this summer.

Tues night we had a dinner play date w Kyle and Em since their dad works late on Tuesdays.  Kyle came to Betsy and I and said "somebody pooped. I think it was Hilly." All of the sudden, hilly streaked by butt naked with poop all over her butt. Her poopy diaper and dress were laying in a pile in the living room.  

Wed we had a play date w my old coworker's daughter and also a day and night time play date w Will bc his dad worked late on Wed. What would we do without these awesome peeps?

Thurs there were lots of tears but we made it to gym. 

Hilly was pumped. Dead serious. 

She ended up w a private lesson for 20 min til the other kids showed up.

Last night a babysitter put the kids to bed so I could go see the author of Silver Linings Playbook speak at a nearby high school.  The kids had a blast.  Jackie came to me in middle of night and said "I was seeing if you were home. I love you!" The babysitter (who is a pediatric nurse) said that after she tucked the girls into bed Jackie asked "Are you leaving now?"  She thought they were going to be left alone! And apparently right after I left Hill nonchalantly said to her and Jackie, "I go find Mommy."
