Happy 5th Birthday, Pooh Bear!!!

Dear Pooh Bear, 

There are a few pics on my phone that I just cannot delete.  

My favorite one is obvi this one. You and your homey.  You've always been pals but this year, you play more as equals- you reenact Frozen, you broach serious subjects, you get into mischief, you color, you play in the playroom, you read books together. As the big sister, you lead the way- welcoming her to play or turning her away. I am SO proud and happy and relieved that 9 times out of 10, you want to play w her. That is exactly why I wanted you close in age. You are kind and thoughtful and your first order of business is PLAY, as it should be. You play well with her, with your besties, with your besties' siblings. As you did when you were a baby, you take time to care for the little ones. This might be my favorite quality in you. 

Another pic I can't help but keep is this gem. Your sense of humor sometimes seems beyond your years and has your dada and me laughing like crazy when we least expect it. Other times, you laugh about poop like obsessively. 

And this one- I CANT BELIEVE YOU ARE 5! And neither can you! I want to snuggle that baby!! I also can't believe how strongly you resemble your cousin Nick in that pic.

Your friends gave you Frozen Legos. Woohoo! But pooh bear, you will always be my pooh bear. I love you something fierce. And even though you are an extreme daddy's girl, I am an extreme Jackie's girl. I think we will always be besties.
