Gma arrived bright and early and we had an awesome drive down to the beach. We stopped only twice- once for breakfast at Waws and once for a healthy lunch at the Golden Arches.
We arrived right after cousin Mark and his friend Nick. Jack was pumped about her pink bedspread.
We packed markers and a large pad of paper which came in handy throughout the week. I wish I brought crayons instead of markers though for obvious reasons. Ben has consistently had marker all over his face and hands.
We also packed Legos.
Hill found some puzzles. She obsessed over them for the first few hours we were there. Cousins and Gma helped put them together.
Day 2 at the beach. I always bring an inflatable pool and it is never a hit. When will I learn my lesson?
Hilly LOVED the water. It took Ben awhile to get used to the sand between his toes. He would study other people and then study his own sandy toes.

The crew. Slowly but surely getting sunburned. Only to be punished severely later in the hot tub.
Filling a plastic truck w sea shells. Obvi.
Well I guess cleaning off seashells in the pool was a form of entertainment for awhile.
Back at beach house.
Exhausted.
