A lot of creativity
The usage of the word Confection and Inflection as opposed to Infection
How sweet and scared Jackie was when Hillary was barfing. Actually it was more utter panic and screaming "Hillary!!! I am scared!!" Through tears. Complete chaos.
Sunday before our run. We run oh maybe once a month during 6 mos of the year. 6 "runs" a year. And it's maybe like a walk a little, run a little, etc... We stop at the playground, walk by her school, stop at Walgreens. Well this evening we were stopped by a really old lady who had a puppy and a walker. She was very polite but told me I would ruin Jackie's knees if I let her run. She said she just had a hip replacement and it's because she ran for 5 miles a day for 10 years. And her nephew is a doctor and his daughter started at age 6 and ran competitively through college and has knee issues.... I wanted to tell her she is like 90 years old and out on the street taking a walk by herself. (A) doing pretty well for 90, no? Maybe those runs did you a service AND (B) you are 90. Everyone gets new hips. Deal with it!
Hilly insisted on dressing up for soccer. She loves staying at school for lunch.
Sharing a "milkshake." Oh the fights this picture caused!!! "Don't drink it all!" "Mommy! They are drinking it all!"
This is Jack at Hilly's make up swim lesson? Not sure why we were at the pool earlier in the week. Jack had her lesson last night and she started learning the breast stroke.
Oh on Tuesday Lisa and I both walked to pick up the older kids from school. It took us a full hour to get home w these beasts. Ben and Drew get together and are absolutely in their own world. They have a special connection and I truly have a feeling they will be friends forever.
Benny waiting for his sisters to finish cheer dance whilst eating a peanut butter and jelly gazing longingly at the older kids playing basketball. Basically the story of his life.
Dinner 20 minutes later.
With jim working so much, I don't know how I would survive without this place!!
Hilly's health took a dip on Wed so I took her to doc. No strep. Just an awful virus. We got home and she ran right up to my bed and started demanding chicken soup. So she was still herself.
But for Macaroni? The struggle is real.
Last week Benny and I hit up Goodwill and found a Toy Story football. He sleeps with it and gazes at it. Loves it.
It was Dr Seuss's birthday and for some reason this year the girls couldn't get enough of this beloved day. Jack and I collected all our Dr Seuss books and we've been reading them ever since.
Friday hilly felt much much better and decided she would wear her Anna dress to school. I notified her friend Emily's mom so they both were dolled up.
While Princess Anna was at school, Ben and I went to doc so I could get a strep test. It was negative and today I woke up feeling like a new woman. Benny got superhero stickers.
Last night we had dance as usual. And our 2nd HAC dinner of the week bc we had to rush right after school to pick up our beloved minivan!!!!!!!!
