As I was painting furniture on Mon or Tues morning, I let the bunny run around w the dogs. I glanced over and saw this and my heart melted a little:
I love animals, man. Lou has been struggling lately w arthritis and leg issues. The cold weather is bad and it also seems like this fluctuating weather is bad for her too. I don't know much about arthritis, but poor Lou!
My girl, Hill, Tues night searching for snacks. This girl loves her snacks.
This guy. He was grumpy but I am just so completely in love with that face and those eyes.
And this one. Those eye brows!! Just like her dada. Maybe the only thing she got from her dada.
We had a playdate on Thursday w Jack's friend from school named Leah who lives nearby. We walked her home - Oh I forgot to take pics of our first Rita's trip. Jack had a bad day at school- she had a 3rd wheel experience w a group of 3 girls- so the little ones went to Tiffany's (which is a common Wed afternoon arrangement) and picked up P from school. We talked a lot about how we are going to allow people in our lives to treat us. This is totally a lifelong battle and the earlier you learn that (a) people will treat you the way you allow yourself to be treated and (b) you can't change people, you are less likely to be treated like crap.
Friday Jack had off of school, so she accompanied us to Grandparent's Day. Below are Jackie and Hilly in Hilly's classroom.
Pop-pop and Ben and his bestie Vali designing little boxes in Ben's classroom.
Snack time.
Group shot.
We then hit up Booth's Corner where I invested in a $10 Irish flag to hang outside of our house on St Patrick's Day week. I've been wanting one of these bad boys for awhile.
We also saw puppies. This golden doodle. Sigh. If my aunt and I weren't starting a dog breeding business in a few years, I would've taken this little dude home with us. He had an old soul- those eyes. Jack felt it too. I pray that whoever takes him home loves him and treats him well.
Benny and the pups. In that cage were a choc lab and 2 of those police dogs- what are they called? German Shephards.
Then we hit up Grotto's, obvi.
Aunt Jeantte hooked up the kids with the kid's version of the Game of Life. It's so much fun to play!
My majestic beast.
On Saturday we hit up mass and then Kid's, our fave post-mass restaurant.
The kids are finally getting into word finds. I remember loving them. And then falling out of love with them.
This guy. He ate his entire grilled cheese like this. Took every inch of control for me not to dive across the table and give him a snuggle. He's SO CUTE!
I couldn't help it anymore. I said "Hey Benny, crawl under the table and come cuddle!"
