My Boos

When it started snowing yesterday, we were at Super G. Jack yelled "It's wintertime!"

Jackie named her Caillou doll Caillou, and her baby doll Hillary. It is so freaking cute. She has them eat and watch TV w her and when she puts them down to nap, she checks on them 1000x. Wonder where she gets that from? Haha

Also, Jim set up a "tent" on her crib- a sheet forms a roof for it. Each night she sleeps under her roof.

We have been playing a lot of hide-n-seek around here since Jax played w cousins Jenna and Jill on Xmas. As you can see, she is an expert.

Hilly started saying "baby."

1st Tri Screening

Sent the u/s pic to my friend Smod and she told me it looked like a hot baby. Haha I will have to let this child know- good looking even in utero.

Anyway, had 1st trimester screening today and got a gander at the new addition. He or she kept sucking his or her thumb. Cute! Although after the 1st, I look at it and think "Aahh! A real baby! Please be kind to your mother."

After the u/s, we headed to Jack's friend P's house to hang. The girls had a blast. Poor H gets heat for stealing other kids' stuff- cups, toys, nuggets. Homegirl is unfazed by the yelps of her adversaries. Stay that way, H. There will be no shortage of haters in this life. Haters gonna hate. Players gonna play.

Now the girls are coloring a pic for the girl next door who brought them another Elf on Shelf! 2!! How lucky are these gals? That girl is so generous to Jax and Hills. :). Also, H colors now!

Last Post of Day- Catch Up

We got home late Xmas night and bright and early the next day, I had Jackie's 2 BFFs - P and Will- over to play. Jack had so much fun, and it was so cute to watch Hillers follow the big kids around.

This afternoon we met up with Will and his mom to see the lights at Longwood Gardens. It was freezing, but most of it was in the greenhouse, which made me excited about the prospect of one day taking another tropical vacation. One day! WITH my girls, ahem.

In between these activities, my homegirls played like angels with their new toys and each other. I am talking silence for hours as they explore their basically new playroom.

Hillers is getting to an age where she enjoys playing games like peek-a-boo and hide 'n seek w Jax and they laugh together. 2 kids 19 months apart? Best decision we ever made. :)

Jim Phone Pics- Dutch Xmas

I call this series: Through a Father's Eyes

Xmas Eve and Xmas Morning

Pics from church and the country club. And then Santa's visit that night which scared the shiz outta Jax and Hills. Jax was on Aunt B's lap and the doorbell rang. When someone yelled "It's Santa!" - her facial expression of fear and shock was priceless. I will never forget it. Also, Jax sang Silent Night like a champ. I love you, Pooh Bear.
