Yesterday after nap, I packed dinner for Jax, fed Hillers, packed the car, and headed for Reading, PA to Xmas Village. I told Jax we were headed to the North Pole to see Santa's home and- it did not disappoint.
This hokey farm- lit with a thousand lights and displays, blaring Xmas tunes and packed with kids- was a dreamland for Jax and Hills. We tried to pick a day when Jim was able to go, but he's been so busy w work he told us to just go without him. But- fear not- we will return.
We saw wooden figures of Sesame Street characters (probably violating 100 intellectual property laws, haha), Nick Jr characters, old fashioned candy shop, church, schools, reindeer barn, toy shops, ice cream shop, trains, Santa Clauses, farm animals, nativity scenes, Noah's Ark, grinch, etc.. We were there 2 hours and could've stayed longer but H was running out of gas.
It was in the middle of farm country, PA which is my favorite place to be.
Anyway, thanks Gma for a magical night!! We wish you lived closer...
