The moment we've all been waiting for: the Christmas show at Jax's school.
Getting out the door this morning was no treat- until Jax realized her and Hillers would be wearing matching shoes.
We arrived.
Grammy, Grandpa, Nana, Hilly and I sat in audience on edge of our seats.
Jax and her class came out, antlers on head, bells in hand, singing.
Jax stood there - Grammy pointed out that she was poised and I have to agree- and I saw her looking for us. I had moved off to side because H started fussing and I needed a better picture (my pictures all stink so I have to get some from my dad). Anyway, she saw her grandparents first and - bless her mostly German and Irish heart- she kept searching for me. She gave big smiles and licked her bottom lip.
In the car ride home she told Jim on the phone: "I was quiet.". 'Tis true.
We went home and had Grotto's w Grandpa and Nana and Gpa and Jax drew pics on magna Doodle
Then we went to Xmas Village, which Jax calls the North Pole. Which is a whole diff post.
Today was one of those special ones.
