Neighbor's Bday

Jax attended her first glow-in-dark numchuck (sp?) karate party this afternoon. As did I. B (neighbor boy) turned 5.

1.5 hours of karate instruction. At 1 hour, 10 min, Jax got into it. Before that she stood w the kids and observed, looking stoic.

Each child received a glowing numchuck. They turned off lights and played music. Jax twirled her numchucks like a pro.

She ate cake and joined the kids for B's board breaking ceremony. She totally got it.

She had so much fun. I was so proud. How is she so awesome? The older kids were sweet with her.

Hillers was good too- blowing kisses to Jack from afar and walking up to her afterward and giving her a happy-to-see-you-again smile, which Jax returned.

Anyway, I feel like I was hit by a truck and set my kids in front of a Caillou Xmas special.
