Hello my faithful blog readers (read: Mom). Bet you thought I forgot to blog today. On the contrary- I would not miss the day that is one month before my favorite month of the year- July.
Below, we experienced some species confusion. Man or beast? It is all relative.
Yesterday at the park we ran into old friends (the daycare). Jackie was shy- there were lots of people there. That little girl in the orange ("C") was her first friend. I think I will always love her. And the little one in the blue and white stripes is my friend's daughter from work and she is the sweetest. I hope I know these little girls forever even though with the messed up school system in this state, I probably won't. Maybe I will start stalking C's mom so we can become friends. We got along really well and she even left me a recipe in Jackie's cubby once for all natural mosquito repellent. AND they have beagles. Sigh. So close yet so far away.
And then I practiced raising sloths. We take relaxation very seriously.
Today my college roomie and her son came to play. We ordered pizza and felt like we were running an orphanage. I posted this picture mainly because I love Jack's outfit (I will post a better pic of her son soon- he is a stylish bugger himself). I would wear Jack's outfit if I was into crew necks, but I generally prefer a solid V. Love the green/brown combo. Bravo to me.
