Here is a combo of pics taken from my phone and the instagram accounts of guests (mainly my cousins and one from the mom of the other flower girls which was sent to me by a mutual friend we have- small world). I am going to steal better pics from Internet soon- it was a beautiful ceremony and reception and my pics don't do it justice. The pics against that stone wall were the best.
Anyway, Jackie was a bit nervous before performing her official duties. She tried to walk up the aisle with Uncle B. But when it was go time, she grabbed her basket, filled it with flower petals and joined forces with the 2 other flower girls. She never looked back. *wipes tear.* Also, she sat during ceremony with the other flower girls and ate gummy worms with them. So cute!
Meanwhile, Hilly ran amuck with a 2 year old ring bearer behind the scenes. He said to her "You are soo beautiful! Let's be friends forever!!"
Dinner was rough with Hilly, as anticipated , but once the music started, the girls both bolted to that dance floor. Didn't hurt that it was a country song and we dance at home to country every day. Once adults came out, we strapped Hilly into the stroller but Jackie kept dancing literally all night. I looked over at one point and she was rocking out to the band that had just started playing. I think everyone got to dance for at least a bit with Jax. She hung w Jenna and Jill and Gma D-ster, played with Parker at the table, did photobooth (so did Hillers), slow danced with Grandpa Lee, ate cake with her cousins Jenna and Jill, etc...Hilly was pretty content in her stroller and there was only one moment where I couldn't find her- and wouldn't ya know- she had bolted onto the dance floor during the father-daughter dance. Thank God Jim was right there and nabbed her.
She asked Jim "Is Lauren a princess?"
The next morning Hilly woke up in pack-n-play saying "Gra-Gra!!!!" (her nickname for Gma D). I took her out she immediately started dancing.
So, anyway, not a particularly relaxing wedding for Jim and myself but... the girls had the most fun ever hanging out with everyone. :)
