1st week of summer

It began with a much anticipated sleepover party at grandma and pop-pops and it did not disappoint! 

The weather was beautiful so the kids were able to play outside. Not quite warm enough for pool though. 

Tuesday we had to get home for Jackie's tennis. Below are Hills and Em playing in the grass. 

Wed AM Em was kind enough to watch the kids at Betsy's while Betsy and I ran for 40 minutes outside. SUCH a luxury. 

Then we hit up pizza and the HAC. 

Pool time- they went in the outdoor pool for the first time! 

Again, not warm enough for the likes of me 

Thursday Jack had yoga, hilly did a drop in dance and there was pool time. Benny smashed his fingers in a door. Very eventful. Very early bedtime. 

Friday morning- chillin w dada

If these pics look peaceful, you are getting the wrong impression- the week was insane!! Fun and funny but never a dull moment. And we had Em w us all week so she can attest. It's awesome having her around to laugh with and an extra set of arms to carry Hilly back to the house to be bandaged after face planting on cement. Ya know- the usual. 

So Friday night was capped off w my first 5 miles race. I normally don't include my own life on here but maybe from time to time I will so the kids can see that I did make time for myself. Especially when it comes to being healthy. 

It was so much fun. I love summer.
