1st weekend of summer

Saturday morning after the last Sat morning gym class: we hit up the playground and my girl just looked so old and the sun looked so beautiful hitting her just so- I had to take a few pics. 

I love you, sweet Hillary! I told her the other day that she has a heart of gold. She responded "mommy, we all have hearts of gold!" So sweet. This made up for her throwing an Amazon prime box at her sister as they fought over a year-old fedora. 

Sunday was an early Father's Day picnic at my dad's. It was relaxing and the kids had a blast. 

Monday morning I dragged the kids to the gym and then we went for a play date to Cara's house.  

Below is her beloved dog Nikki. I LOVE this dog. She has so much personality- runs loose on their property, goes for swims in their little pond, lays in middle of street to sun bathe. Cara recently told me she has about 6 months left due to congestive heart failure. So heartbreaking.

Aaaand before we head to grandma's for a sleepover tonight, the first gymnastics class of the summer. Gotta keep busy!
