Part of the audience. Ben and Hill were both enthralled. We all watched the DVD over and over again.
I found this in the back of a random notepad. Makes my heart smile.
One random night.
Viewing Jack's video.
Play date at Drew and Will's.
Hilly took the following pics while the adults were chatting in dining room:
Sunday AM I took the girls to mass and then to ice cream.
Benny and Dada joined for the meal part.
The week before vacation was truly a blur. It was our last gymnastics classes (the girls are done at Olympiad forever now, I believe), last ice skating for summer, last everything before school starts. Last week w Em- super sad and hard.
Below is Jack reading her get well card from Aunt J and crew. So thoughtful! We miss them a ton.
Tuesday Gma and Poppop came up!! We saw Secret Life of Pets and even ran into Grammy at the theater. Really fun.
Then we celebrated w Grotto's afterwards. This was part of Hilly's birthday gift from grandma.
They stuck around while I took Jack for her stitches removal. Before:
After:
Wed we had a large scale play date while my friend Lisa and I cleaned my filthy minivan.
It looks amazing!!!
Besties below.
All the kids playing w the loot from the minivan. Must have been hundred of pounds.
Hilly is PUMPED about this dress.
Later that night.... corncob.
Thurs AM gymnastics and stuff.
Friday Em and I took the kids to Target for beach food and school stuff and we realized we should take them to get their pics done!
Em bought Jack some adorable sandals and Hilly's headband below and we styles and coordinated their outfits which was no small feat at all. The results were AWESOME.
Then we hit up Panera for lunch.
Below are the kids all packed courtesy of Emily for the beach. She babysat Corncob while we were gone. Thank God she lives next door so we can see her on the reg. She really has become a part of our family.
And these 2 goons got to hang one last time before school starts for Jackie.
I have always been blessed in the area of friendship- i have friends from all walks of life - ranging from over 70 years old to tiny little children. I wish for my children the same and I can certainly say that Payton has been a pretty awesome start for Jack.
