Grandma Returns!
Monday morning we hit up BJ's and saw they had Halloween costumes out. Superheroes. The girls said they wanted to be batgirl and I got so excited I purchased 2 batgirl costumes and Benny's oft requested Spider-Man costume. The were SO PROUD and wore their costumes all day.
Hilly has already told me that she wants to keep her batgirl costume but actually wants to be Princess Elena (a new Disney princess, introduced right before Christmas and Halloween and of course we don't own her dress. The only dress we don't own). While Santa will bring her an Elena dress, I've no doubt, home girl is Batgirl for Halloween.
Monday night gymnastics.
Tuesday morning at Winterthur we all met up with Cara and crew for some serious crafting before Jackie's 1 hour a day math camp that was held this week.
The theme was the parties Mr DuPont used to throw. So there was old timey music and balloons and 1 million children.
Adorable pics, but these balloons were the bane of my existence. Obvi.
Coloring a dancing Mr DuPont.
Here they had to create a tinfoil boat and see how many pennies fit before it sank. My fave.
Making an awful frog horn.
Emily and Jack. We were sooooo happy to have her back from her fam vacation in Maine.
Never without our share of tantrums.
We went to math camp and then hit up the pool. Below are the girls showering post-pool. I am so grossed out by that floor. They were not.
On the way home we stopped at a natural food store and a used book store.
Obsessed w this monkey drawing.
Benny and Drew playing barbies. LOVE it. I babysat Drew and Will on Wed morning for a bit. Insanity!
Hilly and I made a casserole together.
Benny and Drew watching the Grinch.
Wed pool.
Unlikely besties.
Grandma visited!!! She brought 3 snow globes from Russia. 2 are broken.
We hit up gymnastics.
And got Benny a haircut.
And Rita's.
And my mom sat in he car w the kids while I quick shopped in Lululemon. Mom, I love you.
Chillin w our girl Em.
Play date w Jackie's classmate, Maeve.
Math camp last day.
