Cooler Air... For one second

We had some cooler air and the windows were keen and we LOVED it.
Including sweet Lou. Sweet is generous BC she obsessively steals food from people, even in her old age.

Midway through the play date, Hilly had to drop a deuce so Em took her to the library where they hung out for awhile. Another little girl was there and tried to strong arm Em into being I think the mommy in this game of house. Cracks me up just thinking about it!
We continued the fun at Tiff's temporary new home. It has a screened in porch and it was awesome.

Later that night, Em gave the kids a bath.
And the next day i believe, we broke out Hill's new chess game for kids - a gift from the Brownie fam.
New gifts for potty training and good behavior!
On way to Arden Fair! Woohoo! We took a school bus.

First thing's first- pixie dust necklaces. An Arden fair tradition.

Then we hit up the slides. The ghetto choo choo is no more, sadly.

Lunch.

Bus ride home. We had many a meltdown at said fair. One day I can't wait to go and just browse the little stands and antiques but that year was not 2016.
The highlight was actually this New Orleans water ice stand we saw on the way home that Em pointed out to us. Coolest flavors ever, independently owned by a cooler chick than myself.

Back to the car:

That night we saw Aunt Betty at Grammy and Pops. The kids were sooooo excited. It's a shame she doesn't live closer.

The next day we hit up my cousin Carol's house for Labor Day w an awesome pool and backyard in general. More people we wish lived closer. As usual we had a blast.

She has a little snapping turtle in her pond Abbey said she named Snappy. Too cute!
