Ho Ho

The Plan: To see Santa at the mall.

I was filled with hesitation. I mean, we all know how this is going to end, don't we? We thoughtlessly decide to head over at 12:30-ish, Jackie's nap time. Then we learn that Santa takes his lunch break (wtf, right?) at 1:00. Can't they get a substitute Santa? I mean, in this economy you can't tell me that there aren't a ton of people who would love that gig. Despite Grammy's pleas that Santa take his lunch in 10 minutes, we got there too late and had to wait an hour. Jax strolled the mall with my mom, Grammy, Pops, J & myself. Actually, she wanted nothing to do with me- this was a Daddy's girl moment. Whatever. Hillary clearly loves spending time with me, as evidenced below.
Below is the final $21 dollar product. Essentially a photograph of Jim and a random old man. We received 2 5x7 photos to forever document this moment in history. Haha
Things looked promising, as seen below. She didn't start screaming until the very last moment. They discussed Santa, watched other kids get their photos with Santa. I thought, "Maybe I was wrong! Maybe she won't scream her head off." Nope. But, I mean, I can't blame her. And with all the creeps in the world today, I'm happy she's not overzealous about sitting on the laps of strange old men.
