DE Children's Museum

Sitting amongst 2 whining, tired children, I'm compelled to detail this morning's events. Pops treated Aunt Katie and cousins Nick, Finny & Griff and us to a visit to the Children's Museum. We were psyched. Hilly hung out in the bjorn, happy as a clam, as usual (not the happy part- the hanging in the bjorn part :) ) & Jax ran around the museum like crazy. Then we bravely went to lunch where the girls were fully entertained by their cousins. No doubt every patron's heart sank as they realized they were being sat next to us. At one point I had to crouch down quietly under someone else's table to retrieve Hilly's paci. There was this weird older couple next to us who sat on the same side of the booth. Don't you hate that? In between stuffing my own face, cutting Jackie's pizza and shoveling applesauce down Hilly's gullet, I decided they were on a first date. I wonder if either of them were wishing they were just sitting across from each other like normal people. Haha

Anyway, thanks Pops for the wonderful day. We hope Grammy is feeling better. And we will miss having Aunt Katie and the kids nearby.
