Recovery

This weekend, it was me against 2 babies and 2 wild beasts. And sometimes, as seen above, they went up against each other. Who won? Lou. She outsmarts everyone, and shows up where you least expect her.

Before we descended upon Grandma D-ster's house, I took a photo of Jackie, below, looking for dada out the window. I took one picture the whole time and we did so much: hung out w Gma- Gma babysat Jax, Hilly and Con-man all at the same time, hung out with Parker, took Grandma's new doggie, Coco, for a million walks, hung out w my friends and their kids. This morning Jax and I wanted to sleep in but Hilly had other plans. She's lucky she's a knock out because this morning, it wasn't her personality that got her by. No, sir.
In other news, today Hilly christened the umbrella stroller at Old Navy. It was the cutest thing ever.

Below is the solitary photo I took at Gma Dster's.
This pic is from Friday, I believe. Never has sidewalk chalk been such an integral part of my life. Add bubbles to that list. Thanks.
When we returned yesterday, our car was bombarded with 4 excited children. The neighbor boy asked if Jackie could come over to play and I said that she couldn't. He then took her hand and guided her into his house. His respect for my word knows no bounds. He fits in perfectly in this family. After unloading the car, I went to the neighbor's house and found Jackie eating dinner with them. Of all the events that transpired, this vision cracks me up the most. It was the last thing I expected to see.

Alright, well this might surprise you, but Hilly is starting to cry.

Oh and quickly- I thought of a new idea. Firstly, we should privatize the mail system. And there should be a drive thru- but not for people with any questions or issues- just for people who simply want to mail letters/packages, no questions asked. Rule: No questions at the post office drive thru. This rule is firm. And you are not allowed to search for exact change either. I am guilty of this (as is Gma Eiding) but I am willing to change my ways for this new, more efficient system.
