A Dutch Reunion

Yesterday was our PA Dutch family reunion.  We drove for miles and miles on peaceful back roads to get there and it was glorious.  Jim kept accusing everyone of passing gas, and I kept reminding him that we were in Dutch country.  Until Jax yelled, "My tooted!"  My bad.

Cousin P again kindly chased Hillers.

Here are Jax blowing bubbles and Jim contemplating his good fortune in life.

Hillers on the move.  I wish I had pics of cousin Abbey- Jax finally had a little girl to play with.  Abbey is 4 and was so sweet with Jackie on the rusty playground equipment.
The night before... no hands!  And mac and cheese all over her face.
 And a HUGE milestone.......

Big girl car seat!!!!!!!!!!!!  Hilly was tickled.  Both girls were so happy about this change.  At one point Hilly started fussing and Jax said, 'Don't cry, Hilly.  We're going to see Grandpa, Nana, Uncle Brian, Aunt Lauren and Parker!'  Too cute.  The only drawback of the day was feeding Hilly at a picnic.  I fed her chili, bean by bean.  Luckily, I won a wooden pig sign and a bottle of homemade wine in the raffle.

Thank God I am Dutch.
