So here we have B enjoying tummy time on what has become his jungle mat. This jungle mat was gifted to me by my beloved friend Mastri when I was pregnant with Jackie.
On days or afternoons or mornings or whenever we stay home, the girls play together hardcore. The more tired they are, the more rough they play. Below are some photos of that happening. Jackie said on this particular day (probably Tues?) "Ben, I love you so very much. Mommy, thank you for my baby brother!" We have no clue where we got the "I love you so very much" line but I'm fairly certain it isn't a Jackie original. :) But we'll take it.
Below is Ben in his new threads from Aunt Katie. Vintage postage stamp theme. I totally want a pair in my size, but I would first need a pedicure.
Below are some good pics I found in Jim's phone and mailed to myself. Not sure if these are already in the blog because I haven't looked, but they are so cute that I'm okay with them appearing twice...
Below are Jax and me on Xmas Eve up in B-ville.
Jack found the missing Peter Pan DVD and we settled in to watch it the other night after gym. Below is a pic of that. Last week my mom was in and kept Hilly and Ben at home so Jack and I went to her gym class ourselves. She asked me this time whether Hilly was coming. When I said yes she said, "Yay! Now I can play!" She is too shy before class to play with the toys on her own. That Hilly is a real ice breaker. Earlier that day, Hilly was super tired during Jack's dance class and threw like 100 tantrums. What are you gonna do?
Below is Ben modeling his brand new "I love LA" onesie from his Aunt Annie out in California.
Here he is modeling his onesie again and also looking like a legit old man. Haha
Just a cute pic before bed.
This morning we took Ben and Hilly to have blood tests (just standard ones that are required by the state). Here is Ben with a bandaged heel.
Here is Hilly pre-blood draw.
Post-blood draw. She was so brave! She removed her own bandage in the car. I looked back and she had a guilty smile on her face and was holding the bandage out to me. Now when you ask if she was brave, she looks down at her arm and says "boo-boo."
Yesterday morning, Jackie said to Jim, "Daddy, I took another dump!" Haha
We also had a play date this week at Payton's where Jackie's old preschool teacher was babysitting P and baby H, which was fun. On Friday we had a huge play date at our house. Will arrived first and I overheard the cutest conversations between Jackie and Will. They were looking into the dog room talking about where the dogs were. Somehow, Disney World was brought up. Jackie LOVES talking about Disney World and all the characters and things she will see there. She said to Will, "My Grandma is taking me to Disney." (Hear that, Mom? You brought this upon yourself! Haha). Will said, "My Daddy is taking me. But we have to grow first." Jackie said, "I'm growing." Will said, "Me too." Then Jackie said, "I'm going to see the clubhouse (Mickey Mouse's clubhouse from the show)." And Will started listing who he was going to see. Payton arrived a short time later and ran up to me and asked where Jackie was. I wanted to make sure she found her a few minutes later and went into the kitchen. Jackie, Payton and Will were all sitting on a step together looking through Will's magazine of Halloween costumes. It was really cute. The house was like a zoo but all the kids played together really well. I only had to correct the kids once about excluding Hilly. And please, Hilly is the total life of the party. Kids will be lining up around the block to be hanging with this cool chick.
