For starters, Gma D-ster came for 2 days and it was the shiz. I went grocery shopping alone, went to the dentist alone, and Ben and I went to his 1 month wellness alone- and I knew the girls were hanging out hardcore w Gma. The highlight, though, was an afternoon with Gma E. She came to meet her new great grandson and brought us a delicious lunch. Jim and I went out for quick dinners 2x. The first night- All kids asleep before we left. 2nd night- my mom heard footsteps and saw shadows. Then Jax explained to her that H was keeping her awake and she tried to go to mommy and daddy's room for some peace and quiet. Best part? My mom bought this BS story! Played like a fiddle. As my mom relayed the story to us, Jim and I were like "suuuuuure..." as my mom staunchly defended the veracity of Jackie's story. That's what grandmothers are for, I suppose. I know mine always defended me. Gma E even thought I was beautiful in junior high. Now that, friends, is love. :)
Thurs my mom and I watched P and baby H and the kids were all angels. I got some good one on one time with P when jack was zoned out to Cinderella (first time watching). Jackie picked an awesome BFF. Hopefully she won't abandon her by moving to CA. Ahem.
Now everyone left and we miss having that full house!
Oh best part of Ben's dr Appt- I looked down at him and realize he is sucking on a pink paci, I packed a pink bottle and he was laying in his purple car seat. Poor thing. #littlebrotherproblems
