Friends and Meltdowns

Yesterday we got to babysit P and Hannah, which the the girls were obviously thrilled about. Jack and P had a debate on whether the car out from was P's- Jax said "it looks like your car, but it isn't."

Jack isn't allowed to drink as much milk as Hilly bc she gets constipated. I just caught her chugging from H's sippy cup of milk. Jack immediately said "I am keeping Hilly's cup safe."Is that what they're calling it these days????

Also, Nina's mom got Hilly this animal book- all the animal sounds are on it, etc... If you've been to our house lately, u know the book. H loves loves it. So I put it in her crib at night (she is an avid reader). Oddly in the AM, the book is in jackie's bed.... Every morning I ask her if and why she stole H's beloved book. She responds "She gave it to me.... Isn't that sweet?" Yeah right!!!

Right now H is reading that book on the playroom floor wearing a safari hat. Haha She often dons her safari hat, monkey book bag and Dora glasses. Hot stuff.

We are waiting for Gma to come. Jack is excited. I asked her what her favorite thing is about Gma. She said "Her hair. No...her earrings. I want pretty earrings too."

At ballet this morning, for the first 45 minutes of Jackie's class, Hilly didn't run!!! The only person who can truly appreciate this is probably my friend Tiffany, who has been chasing Hilly w me multiple times a week for many seasons now- but believe me- it was heavenly. I felt so proud.
