Tonight I got mad at Hilly and Jackie both for playing in the toilet water. So I cleaned up after them, told them they were wrong (which they knew- Jax confessed immediately) and then I ditched them to go clean the master bathroom. When I was done cleaning the bathroom, I peaked into their room and Hilly was pointing to pages in a Sesame book asking "What's that?" and Jackie would tell her. Then they started wrestling and tickling each other. Already they have started bonding via their joint parental disdain! I speak from experience when I say that nobody so fully understands your parents as your siblings do.
Ben is still little and hasn't turned on me yet. :)
Hilly slept through the entire visit (pretty much) today and when she came down she kept saying "woah!" and started playing w the babies and jumping on the trampoline. She loves to have a good time.
Jackie was super chatty with Nini. She loves Nini so much. She feels comfortable chatting away with only a select group of adults and it makes me happy when she chats away w my friends/. It makes me feel like I've chosen wisely.
