Dance Shoe Shopping

Jack starts her ballet/tap/tumbling class with her BFF, P, this Tuesday, so we went out shopping for tap and ballet shoes at this dance store nearby....

Jackie was super excited.

Below are the girls in their tap shoes.  Jax said to me this morning, "I am wearing my tap shoes EVERYWHERE." as she tapped all over the hardwoods upstairs and the bathroom floor.... yayyyyy

Then we hit up the local ghetto Chuck E. Cheese (Hilly was at home with a cold and the entire time I felt bad bc I know how much fun she would've had on this 3 hour outing)

And, lastly, lunch at Friendly's.  We brought Hilly some mac n cheese leftovers.

Ben held down the fort with Hilly and Dada.

Then Jim went to Costco and got Disney pull-ups.  Even just sitting on the box with the characters from Monsters, Inc. was exciting to them.  The simple things!

Everyone vegging out to Monsters, Inc.  Hilly has started singing "Mean" by Taylor Swift, and Jax has started singing "I love it" by Icona Pop.  They are both pretty serious about dancing and Jackie is less shy than Hilly in this area (which wouldn't surprise you one bit if you were at Aunt L and Uncle B's wedding...). 

This is pretty much what happens every time we put Ben in his swing (either Jax or Hilly- Hilly tries to tickle him lovingly while saying "goochy goochy" but it ends up looking more like she is scratching his eyes out...)

Below is Ben, dealing with the life that comes with having 2 older sisters....See? He is already a chick magnet.
