I have to knock out this entry before I either forget everything that's happened since Tuesday or one of my children starts screaming for me. Ben is currently staring at me with a suspicious look in his eye that says "Are you thinking of having a glass of wine and using your brain? Well, then I will start fussing because that is my job at 2.5 (almost 3! Eeks) months old." And he would be right- that is indeed his job.
So above are me and Hilly stealing early morning snuggs and below are Hills and her buddy Emily before my friend Betsy and I went jogging around a neighborhood. Ben was in a single jogging stroller w me and he screamed 80% of the time. We all survived it, though.
So that was Wed. During quiet time I let Jax watch Alice in Wonderland. She calls it that movie with the rabbit and the clock. I studied Lewis Carroll at Oxford and while my professor told me not to write a paper on how he was a perv... I wrote a paper on how he was a perv. Because.... he was a perv.
ANYWAY, Thursday was Hilly's 2 year old wellness visit.
Height: 55 percentile (this shocked me. I thought she was taller) I want to say 34 inches but I can't recall.
Weight: 25 percentile. (25 pounds)
No head measurement. :/
I told Jackie that morning that Hill was shots and she was SO upset and screamed "No!! I don't want my sister to get shots." So we talked about the good-ness of vaccines. Hill got 2 and then Jackie had her flu vaccine through her nose. Jackie started tearing up when Hilly was screaming during her exam. The doctor said the 24 month visit is always the worst.
Oh, below is Jax waiting in line at her gym class on Wed night. Hillers was bent up about not being able to go in too.
En route to Hilly's doctor appointment.
Jax was reading books to Ben and Hillers while we waited.

Then we hit up Gpa Lee's house for a bit and then onto Gma D'sters to celebrate cousin Parker's 13th birthday. I remember the day he was born like it was yesterday. My favorite memory of baby P was when I was home from college for some reason when he was like a month old or so and I changed him into his fuzzy PJs. He was so soft and snuggly and I had to stop myself from straight up stealing him. Parker will always hold a special place in my heart.
Oh, below is Jack riding her trike that I broke out from the basement. She was psyched it had a basket in the back like Elmo's does and was sure to put a toy in there. Haha
Below is my man Brother B rocking his Eagles jersey, which apparently is NOT a good luck jerz.
The girls played w cousin P (below) and everyone else- Jack was obsessed with wiffle ball yesterday.
Something has to be said for living on a golf course. The grass, the space.........
The girls helped P open his gifts.
Pop-pop has been searching for a clown nose for Jacks for MONTHS and finally found some. Jackie was SO happy.
Below are Ben and his cuz Gabey. Gabe is usually the happiest baby in the world but he was exhausted at this moment.
Jax and Hilly hanging with Uncle B and cousin P. Seriously, the girls had the best time. Jackie was asking if we could please sleep over and then this morning on the way to school kept telling me how beautiful Gma's house was and that she was Gma's helper.
Tonight before P and crew came over to hang, Jax went through a box of handmedowns from my cousin Jenny and found this gem!! A jessie costume from Toy Story. She did not take this off all night. It was hysterical to watch her cruising on her tricycle, dead serious wearing this outfit, gold shoes and a helmet. At one point, her and P were taking turns dancing on the coffee table (the one not dancing would blow a whistle to start/stop- like freeze tag?) It was hysterical. It was an awesome way to end a really good week. We missed them!
Alright, I am going to watch Orange is the New Black. Jim is working late and he doesn't like this show.
