Orientation Week

This week was nuts with Jackie's school social, open house, and her activities starting up. It's been really fun, though.

I wore a skirt I haven't worn since last summer to Jax's water ice social. She saw it and said "Mommy! Your skirt is beautiful! I'm so proud of you!" Nice, right? Clearly I usually wear sweats. :)
In my defense, ppl are always barfing on me.

En route to Jackie's gymnastics we hit traffic and Hill started saying, "Mommy! I get out!" And our old neighbor B is taking class there at the same time (diff class though). This state is so small. So small. But I def prefer super small these days to super big, I've learned.

Jax's teacher seemed really nice. I asked her feedback on preschool and all the stuff I've been stressing. So her professional opinion helped. We walked in to open house today and saw P right away. They started holding hands and jumping. I hope she has best friendships like I've had with them...

Before the social (worst name ever), Jackie told me she "wasn't scared...just a little bit nervous." She did awesome, though. I mean, all her friends are in her class, so she will basically be playing with them 3 mornings a week. Can't wait to see how things go!
