On Sunday we hit up a 4th of July picnic in Allentown. I took no pics- these are all Hillary's work of art.
Monday we met up with our friends at the HAC. Jack had a pre-kindergarten Math workshop run by Betsy every day this week from 1-2, which she loves. They come home at night and play "tutoring."
They had yoga on Monday.
That night we met up with our friends at a restaurant where kids eat free on Monday nights. John the balloon guy was there.
The kids each got a dog. All the dogs were popped by the time the food arrived. He made a few more and Ben got a Spider-Man thing. Then he made extra balloon for us on the way out. These balloons were legit the worst.
Tuesday after Math camp- Will and Drew came over for dinner. Hill took these pics:
That night in the bath:
Opening a birthday card from Aunt Donna. These activity cards are always a huge hit.
Pool on Wed w P and crew. This was lunch time. The girls have way more fun when they are well fed. Don't we all?
After the pool P stayed w us and the girls took Jazz and Karate. But first they played on the maze.
Mr Ralph taught jazz. They had a blast. I was sort of jealous bc I wanted to join. This class was for ages 6-8 but they let Hilly in too. She did great!
On Thurs their gym started up for summer. Just a 6 week program. Hilly is in the 4 year old group and its cute but also she is back at square one learning all new stuff. I'm seeing that the confidence to try things is really the largest hurdle for my girls.
We paid St Ann's tuition with Will and crew. Will was excited to give Jack a tour of his school.
Then I took the kids for hair cuts. They were totes fighting over these toys. I felt tired and jaded at this moment.
But the sight of Hill in the barber chair cheered me right up.
She did awesome. An old pro.
Ben hated it- he sat on my lap and I held his arms down. He screamed like a wild animal. Screamed until he passed out in his car seat.
Lunch at HAC before the last math workshop.
Ben cheered up. Don't even get me started on this guy.
