We decided we would do a standing Monday playdate with our old neighbors. As we pulled into the driveway of their new home, Jackie said "This is beautiful!" I said "Tell Miss D!" She responded "I am a little bit shy."

The girls and the neighbor boy B played some mad drums and accordion. And ate cupcakes. And H ran into a door and fell onto a pile of cars. Backwards. Off a chair. She is at the most difficult age- climbing everything, trying to drink poisonous substances, falling, emptying cabinets. Woo! Lucky she is so adorbs.

Jax said to me the other day during lunch (beagle at her feet) "Eww!". I said "What?". She said "Louie smells! I don't like her breath." Welcome to the club, sister.

At Kohl's the other day looking for dance leotards, Jackie picked out a black satin training bra and nonchalantly said "I like this one." Ha!

I also love her use of phrases. This morning she said to me "Where is my blue dee-dee in my crib? It was here a minute ago!"

She said that at school last week she danced "so hard." and now she will say "I was so hungry. It was so bad."

Also after coming home from Xmas Lou took a dump in her room. She walked in, saw the poop and called out "My room!" Haha. Not winning points, Lou.

When she is changing Caillou's diaper in her new changing table she will say "that's a big poop, Caillou!"

I bought a bunch of adorable boy clothes today w H while Jax was at school. We got home and Jack said "Where did you get these clothes?" I said "at the store?" she said "did Hilly go?" I said "Yes. But you were at school." she said "can you tell Hilly about it? That I was at school?" And then she explained to H that she was at school.

Then we went through the clothes together. She re-named Caillou "Ben" and dressed him in all the "cozy" PJs. She was saying "This one is from me." after selecting an outfit she likes best.

I went nuts on boy clothes. The outfits are so so so cute. Even the lounge pants are awesome. Yay!
